The Caracalla Thermal Baths Festival will not take place this year at its traditional venue due to ongoing changes in the summer program in Rome. Instead, all events that were formerly part of the Caracalla Festival are now being held at the nearby Circus Maximus, one of the city’s most iconic open-air venues.
This shift does not mean a cancellation of the festival, but rather a relocation of its performances to a larger and equally historic setting. The Circus Maximus hosts the same high-quality program of opera, concerts, ballet, and special events, continuing the spirit of the original Caracalla summer season in a new environment.
Visitors can still enjoy the full artistic experience, now reimagined in the spectacular atmosphere of ancient Rome’s largest arena.
